At Cascade Pine Cones, we offer you quality
pine cones that are found in the Southern Oregon Cascade Mountains. Our
selection is limited to "Ponderosa Pine", "Sugar Pine" and "Douglas Fir"
but by being able to concentrate on just a few species of cones, we can
be very selective on the cones we gather, and offer them to you at very
reasonable prices.
All of our pine cones are perfect for various
kinds of craft projects and home decor, from Holiday decorations, such
as wreaths, ornaments, table centerpieces and fireplace mantle accents
to cute pine cone "animals".
Prior to shipping, all of our pine cones
go through a pest removal process. The Ponderosa Pine cones and the Douglas
Fir cones are soaked in a mild bleach solution to remove any unwanted pests
and then air dried and bagged. The Sugar Pine cones are oven baked. This
serves two purposes, first it kills any pests and second it melts the very
sticky sap and creates a natural glaze.
If you have special requests or requirements
such as size matching or miniature pine cones, we will try our best to
accommodate your needs.
